Discussions at the meeting centered on strengthening coordination between and among the three branches of the Government in serving the best interest of the country and its people.
According to a judicial release, the conference of the president with the Chief Justice and the Associate Justices of the Supreme Court on governance of the state is a routine held during her attendance at the opening of each term of the Supreme Court. The release further stated that the president’s visit to the court at this time is due to the fact that she could not attend the opening of the October Term of the Supreme Court for this year due to her absence from the country on official engagements.
